In 1964, one year prior to the invention of the compact disc, TGI Office Automation (then T&G Industries) was born in a brownstone on the then hardscrabble streets of Brooklyn, NY. Two partners set out to earn an honest living with a $500 loan from their grandmother, selling copy paper and office supplies. From those humble beginnings, TGI has grown into one of the most successful business technology providers in the U.S. offering equipment, solutions and service nationwide. Although our organization has grown in leaps and bounds, we’ve never lost touch with the old neighborhood. Our state-of-the-art headquarters and cutting-edge technology portal is located less than a mile away from that same humble brownstone constantly reminding us of where we came from. The only difference is the neighborhood is just a little bigger. Today TGI is a $100,000,000 company and growing.

TGI has developed GPS – Green, Print, Save to help organizations identify ways to reduce costs, gain control and be more environmentally responsible with their output devices. The shift we have made from the position of copier vendor to business partner has been pivotal. Our job is to use our experience and insight to work with our clients on uncovering hidden, emerging demands to improve the way they do business. TGI serves a number of industries. We manage over 30,000 devices nationally. We attract large corporate clients, several with branches throughout the country and governmental agencies as well as local small businesses. We have clients with thousands of end users and hundreds of devices managed by our onsite support teams.

TGI maintains a multi-million dollar inventory for parts, supplies and equipment at its 40,000+ sq. ft. warehouse located in Brooklyn, New York, two 8,000 sq. ft. warehouse facilities in South Florida and a 20,000 sq. ft. facility in New Jersey. We monitor our equipment, accessories, supplies and parts inventory daily and are constantly restocking to maintain sufficient inventory levels. This process allows us to provide our customers a constant flow of immediate deliveries.

TGI now has 10 locations in Brooklyn, New York; New York, New York; West Caldwell, New Jersey; Melville, New York; Woodbridge, New Jersey; Red Bank, New Jersey; Cherry Hill, New Jersey; Shelton, Connecticut; Boca Raton, Florida; and Pompano Beach, Florida.
